Slacker Lowers

Hello Everyone,

Well, I just got rebuked from Heather for not blogging. I guess I am the only one that has not put a blog on about our family. I am very sorry, I just am not a computer gal. I guess when you have a 5 year old, a 3 year old, and a 1 year old, you really don't have time for computers. But, that is no excuse.

So, here is some little info about the Lower Family. James, just had his 5th birthday on Fathers Day. I can't believe how old he is. The family came up for a little birthday party.
He had a lot of fun. He's finishing up T-ball and really excited to start kindergarten in the fall. Zach is also getting really big. He wants to be just like James. He loves Star Wars and he loves his Light Sabor. He has made a lot of friends in our new neighborhood. Jackson is our very active one. He loves to climb on anything he can find. He just fell off the counter this weekend and put a big hole in his lip and shoved his tooth up in his gums. He is quite the bruiser. Needless to say, they keep us going.

As far as Kenny and I, we are just busy finishing the basement and doing the yard. That is about all. I will try and be better at being a blogger. Love you all, Melissa

This is our crazy jackson!! He loves to wear my shoes.

James and Zach got to go to build-a-bear for James Birthday!

Family Fast

I hope Erin and Russ don't care - but I'm organizing a family fast in their behalf. This coming Sunday is fast Sunday and a great day to fast for them since Erin will be having surgery this month. I was thinking we could even set a time on Saturday night that we could all start our fast with a prayer at the same time - and end it together on Sunday at the same time.
Let me know what you all think.

Howdy Ya'll!!!

We welcomed a new a ddition to our home on June 8th. He is a 2lb 4oz Yorkie pup named Henry Finnius Murphy "Hank". The boys are so excited to have a dog. The day before we got the dog we were discussing the responsibility of pet ownership with the boys and they came up with jobs we could do. They are as follows: Connor-Teaching tricks, William-Brushing his hair, Quinten-Buying his water, Scott-potty training, Steph-"really brushing his hair", Gavin-keeping him company. Gavin is really good at his job.

Dennis the "stinkin' Menace

You all saw Heathers cute pictures of her fun night at the Bee's game. They all looked like the had a great time.

Well....Russ and I went to the Bee's Game on Saturday night. It was perfect weather. I didn't even have to wear a jacket. We had great seats that were on the sidline between home and 1st. base. It was a perfect evening....until Dennis showed up....Dennis came sometime during the 2nd inning. He sad down with his two beers and I knew it was going to be trouble. Dennis is about 50 something. He introduced himself and then didn't stop talking & laughing until the 4th inning which is when we finally left our seats. He finished his TWO beers in about 30 minutes and the laughing go worse and worse...you know the kind of laugh that is loud and sounds like the person may have smoked since they were 5. I think he introduced himself about 3 times. You could smell the beer and smoke for miles! I think I got drunk on the smell alone! Anyway, he clames to have season tickets in section H row 9 seat 6 and 7. He is a bachelor so I can't imagine what it would be like if he brought a friend along! So, if you are ever a Bee's game don't go anywhere near section H!! Here is a picture of Dennis the Stinkin' Menace!!!

I know that I am doin this all backwards, but be sure to click on the pictures to get the full view!! Mom

Backyard Nature Center

Dad went to the kitchen window this morning and saw a mother duck and her TEN baby ducklings waddeling across our backyard. It was the cutest thing you have ever seen. The babies followed her every move. She wasn't sure how to get out, so Dad opened the gate and stood so that they would go that direction. Soon they found the gate open and they all went down the street as fast as they could. We watched them for about 20 minutes. It was so much fun! I hope I can send some of the pictures.

First BUZZZZ GAME

We just got back from our first Buzz game of the season. Max had a lot of fun keeping an eye on the Bee - or Bumble Bee (That's what he kept calling it!) It was pretty cold, but we only stayed on hour so it wasn't too bad. It was really fun just watching Max!
